Welcome

The American Back Society was founded in 1982 as a non-profit organization dedicated to providing an interdiscipinary forum for health care professionals and scientists interested in relieving pain and diminishing impairment through proper diagnosis and treatment of patients suffering from spinal pathology.

Fellows and members are encouraged to become active in the Society by participating in committee activities, attending educational symposia, and contributing articles for publication in the annual ABS Newsletter & for our ABS E-Knowledge Update Online Newsletter. Membership in the American Back Society offers you the oppurtunity to participate in the Society's education symposia, committee activities, and business meetings. Membership also entitles you to a substantial discount for our educational symposia, in addition to a complimentary subscription to our ABS Newsletters.
